Unlock the AEK-973 Full Auto Mod in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone

The Terminator event in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 introduces a game-changing Full Auto mod for the AEK-973, transforming this previously underperforming weapon. This guide details how to unlock this attachment in both Black Ops 6 and Warzone.

The Full Auto mod is a limited-time reward within the Black Ops 6 Season 2 Terminator event, available until February 20th. After this date, it's anticipated to become available through the Armory Unlocks system.

To unlock it, you must collect 50 Skulls. Skulls are earned by:

• Black Ops 6 Multiplayer and Zombies: Eliminating enemies has a chance to drop Skulls.
• Warzone: Opening loot caches yields a chance to find Skulls.

Fastest Skull Farming Methods:

• Zombies: Activating the Rampage Inducer and playing until Round 6, then quitting and repeating is highly efficient.
• Warzone Resurgence Solos: Rapidly opening loot caches across the map provides a quick Skull acquisition rate.

Once you've accumulated 50 Skulls, redeem them for the Full Auto mod in the event tab.

How the Full Auto Mod Works:

This conversion attachment, equipped in the Gunsmith's Fire Mods slot, changes the AEK-973 from burst fire to full-auto, utilizing 5.45 ammunition at a high rate of fire. It pairs well with the 5.45 Extended Mag for up to 45 rounds per magazine.

Trade-offs: While significantly increasing the fire rate, the Full Auto mod reduces the AEK-973's damage and range. However, the faster rate of fire maintains a respectable time-to-kill. Handling and mobility remain unchanged, meaning the weapon's inherent slow handling persists. Consider using attachments to improve these stats or utilize it as a medium-to-long-range weapon.
