Mastering VALHALLA SURVIVAL's Combat
VALHALLA SURVIVAL boasts a unique roguelike structure. You control your character's movement only, equipping weapons and leveling up characters outside the game itself. Choose your character and weapon, click "play," and enter the main story stages. Difficulty increases with progression, starting with weaker enemies and escalating to challenging boss encounters that test your dodging skills.
Movement is achieved by clicking anywhere on the screen; there's no traditional movement wheel. While visually stunning, skill animations can sometimes impact responsiveness. Collect blue crystals (EXP) from defeated enemies to level up, and green crystals (HP) to restore health. In-game microtransactions allow purchasing crystals after completing campaign stages 1-4.
Each character possesses unique traits that enhance their combat abilities. You can freely level up and switch between any owned character, regardless of class, providing flexibility in your gameplay approach. Leveling boosts attack, defense, movement speed, and ability effectiveness.
Weaponry: Your Arsenal in the Norse Realm
Weapons are integral to survival. The game offers diverse weapon builds, but class and playstyle limitations exist (e.g., a melee warrior might not wield a bow effectively). However, each class has multiple weapon options combinable with armor and other equipment. Weapons also provide stat boosts to your character, enhancing damage, survivability, and mobility.
Weapon rarity varies, with higher-quality drops appearing in more challenging stages. Defeat mini-bosses and main bosses to acquire these valuable loot items.
