Monster Hunter: Wilds' Second Open Beta Dates Announced!
Capcom has announced the dates for the second open beta of its highly anticipated title, Monster Hunter: Wilds, set to launch on February 28th, 2025. This follows a successful first beta in late 2024. The beta will run across two weekends in February, offering players another chance to experience the expansive open world before release.
Monster Hunter: Wilds promises a vast, immersive world teeming with diverse ecosystems and challenging monsters. The first beta provided a taste of the narrative, character creation, and hunting, featuring the Doshaguma.
Beta Dates & Times:
Available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam.
What Awaits in the Second Beta:
The second beta will include all content from the first, including character creation, the story trial, and the Doshaguma hunt. A new challenge awaits with the addition of a Gypceros hunt, a fan-favorite monster returning to the series. Importantly, players can carry over characters created during the initial beta.
Capcom acknowledges feedback from the first beta, addressing concerns about visuals and weapon mechanics. The developer assures players they are actively working on improvements before the game's launch.
This second beta is a crucial step for Capcom, offering a final opportunity to refine Monster Hunter: Wilds and build anticipation for what promises to be a landmark entry in the franchise. Whether you're a returning hunter or a newcomer, February 2025 is shaping up to be a thrilling month for monster hunting enthusiasts.
