"Wipe Mods Safely: Keep Your Progress Intact"

Mods can greatly enhance your gaming experience in *Ready or Not*, adding new content and features to keep the gameplay fresh and exciting. However, they can also introduce stability issues and restrict you from playing with friends who don’t have the same mods installed. If you're facing these problems, here’s how you can completely remove all mods from *Ready or Not*.

How to Remove Mods in Ready or Not

*Ready or Not* supports mods through various platforms like the Nexus mod manager or mod.io, but removing them is straightforward regardless of the installation method. Follow these steps to ensure all mods are deleted:

  1. Launch *Ready or Not*. Navigate to the Mod Menu in-game and unsubscribe from all mods. This step is crucial as it prevents the mods from redownloading after deletion.
  2. Close *Ready or Not*.
  3. Open Steam, right-click on *Ready or Not* in your Library, and select Properties.
  4. Go to Installed Files, then click on Browse to access the game’s folder.
  5. Navigate to *Ready Or Not* > Content > Paks. Delete everything within the Paks folder, and then delete the Paks folder itself.
  6. Press Windows+R, type in %localappdata%, and press Enter. Locate the *Ready Or Not* folder, navigate to *Ready Or Not* > Saved > Paks, and delete this Paks folder as well.
  7. Return to Steam, right-click on *Ready or Not*, go to Properties > Installed Files, and select Verify Integrity of Game Files to ensure no residual issues remain.

If you’re not planning to reinstall mods, consider giving your game a fresh reinstall for optimal performance, though it’s not strictly necessary.

Mods can indeed enrich *Ready or Not* with new content and features, thanks to the game’s excellent mod support and straightforward mod installation process. However, an abundance of mods can lead to errors, bugs, and glitches, as they are community-created and may not be perfectly compatible. Often, these issues can be resolved by wiping all mods and selectively reinstalling them.

Additionally, if you wish to play with friends who don’t use mods, you’ll need to remove all mods from your game. This ensures a seamless multiplayer experience without the need for everyone to have identical mods.

*Ready or Not is available now for PC.*
