Application Description

NSUTx is a free, cross-platform application developed by the students of the International Developers Community (DevComm) at Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT). This app is designed to streamline access to essential student information available on the NSUT IMS portal and keep students updated with the latest college news.

Why Use NSUTx?

Attendance: NSUTx provides direct access to the attendance records of all courses registered for the current semester from the IMS portal. The app also calculates and displays the number of classes a student needs to attend to maintain at least 75% attendance in each course.

Student Time Table: With NSUTx, students can easily view their class schedules and manage their daily routines. The app sends timely notifications, 5 minutes before each class, ensuring you never miss a lecture.

To-do List: NSUTx helps students stay organized by allowing them to add tasks such as assignments, classes, and meetings to their to-do list. All classes are automatically added as tasks, and the app sends reminders for all listed tasks.

Syllabus: The app provides easy access to the syllabus for courses across all branches, helping students stay on top of their academic requirements.

Results: Students can check their semester-wise results and download their transcripts, which are generated by the IMS portal, directly through NSUTx.

Faculty Time Table: NSUTx also offers access to the timetables of all NSUT faculty members, making it easier for students to schedule meetings or consultations.

Notices and Circulars: Stay informed with the latest notices and circulars from the IMS portal, ensuring you never miss important updates from the university.

About DevComm

The International Developers Community (DevComm) began as a small group of ambitious student developers and has since grown into a significant organization with chapters in various prestigious institutes and universities, including NSUT. DevComm focuses on enhancing both the technical and non-technical skills of college students through events like competitions, hackathons, and fests. The community has successfully completed over thirty projects, both commercial and non-commercial, and provides a member portal for student resources.
