Milly Alcock, the Australian actress renowned for her portrayal of the young Rhaenyra Targaryen in the "Game of Thrones" spinoff "House of the Dragon," recently shared a challenging experience from the early days of her role. On her second day on set, Alcock was approached by someone in a high-ranking position who suggested she undergo acting coaching. This moment was particularly daunting for her, as she revealed on "The Tonight Show," admitting she felt "mortified" by the suggestion.

In a light-hearted manner, Alcock used the incident to humorously reflect on her skills, saying, "It just confirmed everything that I’ve kind of known to be true, [which] is that I’m not very good at my job," despite her evident talent and subsequent success. Her self-deprecating humor only adds to her charm, making her relatable to fans and viewers alike.

Alcock's role as Rhaenyra Targaryen, daughter and heir to King Viserys I Targaryen, has been pivotal in "House of the Dragon." She appeared as a series regular in Season 1 and made guest appearances in Season 2, which explores the decline of the Targaryen dynasty. The adult Rhaenyra is portrayed by Emma D’Arcy, who takes over as the character ascends to the throne.
