Mobirix has expanded its portfolio with a new addition. The developer is well-known for its casual puzzle games and modern takes on classic arcade hits. Previously known as Duck Town during its testing phase, the title is now officially named Duet Ducks: Rhythm Game.
As the name clearly suggests, this is a rhythm-based experience. Beyond keeping the beat, you also get to raise a family of ducks. This unique approach blends two genres seamlessly: rhythm gameplay and virtual pet simulation.
In Duet Ducks: Rhythm Game, you start by completing rhythm stages to collect eggs. These eggs go into an incubator, and after a short wait, a duckling emerges with a happy chirp. The excitement lies in the variety—every hatch reveals a duck with a unique theme or personality. The range is impressive, spanning from ninjas and chefs to astronauts!
The note patterns dynamically sync with the music. With over 120 tracks available, the library includes energetic tunes, moving piano melodies, and more. Controls are straightforward: simply guide the duck to align with the descending notes.
Duet Ducks: Rhythm Game also offers deep collection and village-building elements. Each duck you unlock settles into your growing village. As your community expands, the environment becomes more vibrant. Your ducks even interact with one another after hatching.
Since eggs hatch over time, the game suits short, frequent sessions. If you prefer longer gameplay, you can dive into back-to-back rhythm stages while enjoying the diverse soundtrack.
