Battlestate Games has officially announced that Escape from Tarkov will soon receive NVIDIA's DLSS 4 support. The developers haven't clarified whether this implementation will feature upscaling alone or combine both upscaling and frame generation. From a gameplay perspective, prioritizing upscaling while potentially omitting frame generation might be the wiser choice, as frame generation can sometimes compromise controller responsiveness while upscaling delivers genuine performance improvements.

The development team is currently testing the technology's integration with their game, promising player access in the near future. Alongside this update, Battlestate continues addressing various technical issues within the title.
Responding to growing fan interest in DLSS 4, the developers have accelerated progress in this area. NVIDIA's AI-powered DLSS technology enhances visual fidelity, boosts frame rates, and reduces graphical artifacts.
This announcement has elicited divided responses from the community. While some players welcome the potential performance enhancements, others have humorously suggested the team should prioritize different existing challenges first.
