Pokemon Center Hiroshima is undergoing a significant change! The store will temporarily close its doors in March 2025 and reopen at a new location in April 2025. Simultaneously, a brand-new Gyarados Plaza is set to debut this March.

The Pokemon Center Hiroshima, established in June 2015, will move from its current location on the 6th floor of Sogo Hiroshima’s Main Building to the second floor of Ekie, the north exit of Hiroshima Station. The anticipated reopening is around April 2025.

Gyarados Plaza Opens at Minamoa

The exciting new "Gyarados Plaza by Pokemon Center Hiroshima" will open on March 24, 2025, on the rooftop of Soramoa Plaza within the new Hiroshima Station building, Minamoa. This playground features large Gyarados-themed play equipment, offering a fun experience for visitors of all ages. Advance reservations will be required for playground use for a limited time after its launch; details will be available on the official Minamoa website.

Poke-lun TV Nationwide Event

Pokémon Center Hiroshima's Gyarados Plaza is Oddly Not a Water Park

To celebrate "Poke-lun TV" surpassing 1 million subscribers, Pokemon Centers across Japan (including Hiroshima, before its closure) are hosting a nationwide event. Fans can receive an exclusive sticker by obtaining a password from a specific Poke-lun TV YouTube video (posted December 19, 2024) and presenting it at any participating Pokemon Center.

Select Pokemon Centers (Mega Tokyo, Osaka, and Okinawa) will also feature photo opportunities with studio-style backdrops featuring the popular Poke-lun TV hosts. This event runs from January 17, 2025, to February 16, 2025, and excludes Pokemon Stores, Pokemon Center Online, Pokemon Cafes, and Pikachu Sweets by Pokemon Cafe.
