Marvel Rivals Welcomes PlayStation's Spider-Man

Marvel Rivals welcomes a surprising collaboration: the Advanced Suit 2.0 from Marvel's Spider-Man 2!

PlayStation's X/Twitter announcement showcases NetEase Games' adaptation of this iconic suit for their hero shooter. Initially designed for Insomniac Games' Marvel's Spider-Man, this sleek suit, distinguished by its white spider emblem, has appeared in all three games of the series. This Marvel Rivals addition marks a unique collaboration with Sony and their console-exclusive superhero title. The Advanced Suit 2.0 will be available in the in-game store starting January 30th, coinciding with Marvel's Spider-Man 2's PC release.

Launched in December, Marvel Rivals already boasts a wide array of unlockable suits. The Advanced Suit 2.0 stands out, not only for its connection to the popular PlayStation series, but also because it will be voiced by Yuri Lowenthal. Lowenthal voiced Peter Parker in Insomniac's Spider-Man trilogy and also lends his voice to the Marvel Rivals version.

NetEase's inclusion of the Advanced Suit 2.0 adds to the excitement surrounding Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, which launched last week. This season introduced Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman as playable characters, with The Thing and Human Torch arriving shortly. Creative director Guangyun Chen has promised at least one new hero every six weeks.

While awaiting the new Spider-Man suit, explore player-created custom skins, the Season 1 balance changes, and the clever use of the Invisible Woman's ability to detect suspected bot players.
