Mecha BREAK to Unlock All Starting Mechs After Feedback

May 06,2025 Author: Brooklyn

Mecha BREAK, the exciting multiplayer mech game, recently wrapped up its open beta on Steam on March 16. The beta phase was a resounding success, with the game attracting over 300,000 players at its peak and now standing as the 5th most wishlisted game on Steam. Following this impressive turnout, the developers at Amazing Seasun are taking a hard look at player feedback to refine the gaming experience.

One of the key considerations stemming from player feedback is the potential to make all mechs, known as Break Strikers, available to players from the start. This change would eliminate the need for players to grind through multiple multiplayer matches to earn enough in-game currency to unlock the full roster of 12 Break Strikers. The current system requires players to start with just one mech and work their way up, which can be a time-consuming process.

Amazing Seasun is also mulling over adjustments to the usage of mech modules in the competitive 3v3 and 6v6 modes. While these changes are on the table, the developer has not made any firm commitments yet. They believe that a live service model will be crucial at the game's launch and for its long-term success.
