Finnish game studio Kuuasema has unveiled Cthulu Keeper, a humor-infused strategy game drawing inspiration from H.P. Lovecraft’s universe—and perhaps echoing Bullfrog's beloved 1997 release, Dungeon Keeper. The title is currently in development for PC.
In this 1920s-era adventure, players will "establish their own cult and sow fear and chaos around them," as the developers describe. You'll grow your following by constructing a hidden lair, studying forbidden rituals, and summoning an array of Lovecraftian horrors. Expand your reach by enlisting cultists, spreading your influence across city streets, and accomplishing sinister goals. Of course, rival sects and law enforcement will stand in your way—so you’ll need traps and dark magic to protect your base.

“We’ve poured our hearts and shadowed souls into crafting a distinctive and demanding adventure, one that merges time-tested dungeon management with the eerie tone of Lovecraft’s world," shared Kimmo Kari, Chief Gaming Officer at Kuuasema. Interested players can now add the game to their Steam wishlist.
