Once at your desired Y Level, the classic 1×2 strip mine remains effective. However, occasionally deviate from the pattern to expose more potential Ore Veins by breaking additional blocks above, below, or beside you. If you stumble upon a cave during your mining, thoroughly explore it before returning to strip mining. Caves not only tend to have more Diamond Ore but also make it easier and quicker to find them compared to strip mining.
