During its Black Friday in July Sale, Dell has slashed the price of the new 2025 Alienware Aurora 16 gaming laptop featuring a GeForce RTX 5060 mobile GPU to just $1,099.99, including free shipping. This represents a substantial $400 savings off its original launch price and stands as the best offer currently available for any RTX 5060-equipped laptop from any brand or retailer. If you're searching specifically for a gaming laptop at or below the $1,100 mark, it would be challenging to find a superior value on a budget-friendly gaming laptop, even during Amazon Prime Day.
$1,499.99 save 27% $1,099.99 at Alienware
The Alienware Aurora 16 comes with a 16-inch 2560x1600 120Hz IPS display, an Intel Core 7 (Series 2) 240H processor, a GeForce RTX 5060 GPU, 32GB of DDR5-5600MHz RAM, and a 1TB M.2 SSD. The Intel Core 7 Series 2 240H is an energy-efficient CPU with a maximum turbo frequency of 5.2GHz and 10 cores. It's combined with an RTX 5060 GPU, which delivers approximately 15-20% more power than the RTX 4060 it replaces, making it perfectly capable for most games at resolutions up to 1600p. Its performance nears that of the RTX 4070 and even surpasses it in games that support DLSS 4 with multi-frame generation. At $1,100, you won't find another laptop with a more powerful GPU.
Unlike other Alienware models, the Aurora 16 is designed with a more minimalist aesthetic, avoiding the typical "gamer" look. It features a sleek, understated design without excessive visual embellishments or unnecessary RGB lighting, aside from the keyboard's white backlight. It is also more affordable than the higher-performance Alienware 16X and Alienware 16 Area-51 models. While those laptops are more powerful, they are also larger and heavier.
