Witch Ascendancy Classes in PoE2

Infernalist

Currently a top performer, the Infernalist Witch commands a fiery arsenal. Summoning fans will appreciate the Infernal Hound skill, a fiery companion straight from the underworld. Transform into a demonic form for increased damage and mobility (at the cost of increased health vulnerability). The Loyal Hellhound skill and Beidat's Will node (linking Spirit to maximum HP) are crucial for survivability, allowing you to build a formidable undead army.

Blood Mage

While not as universally strong as the Infernalist, the Blood Mage offers a thrilling, high-risk, high-reward playstyle centered around Sanguimancy—consuming HP instead of MP. Skills like Vitality Siphon, Life Remnants, Sunder the Flesh, and Gore Spike are key to managing this risky mechanic.

Sorcerer Ascendancy Classes in PoE2

Stormweaver

The Stormweaver Sorcerer unleashes devastating elemental damage with high critical hit chance, utilizing Tempest Caller to trigger Elemental Storm. Inflicting status ailments is key, boosted by Strike Twice. Spirit Gems amplify elemental damage against afflicted enemies. Constant Gale and Force of Will improve spell casting speed and MP regeneration. Heart of the Storm converts Elemental Damage to Energy Shield for enhanced survivability.

Chronomancer

A unique addition to PoE2, the Chronomancer manipulates time, offering innovative combat strategies with spells like Temporal Rift and Time Freeze. While not currently the strongest Sorcerer Ascendancy, its time-bending potential offers exciting possibilities. Now and Again helps avoid cooldowns, Apex of the Moment slows enemies, and Quicksand Hourglass boosts spell casting speed.

Warrior Ascendancy Classes in PoE2

Warbringer

The Warbringer combines war cries and totem summons for devastating melee combat, effective even against bosses. Imploding Impacts and Anvil’s Weight enhance armor penetration. Warcaller’s Bellow makes corpses explode, and Greatwolf’s Howl removes Warcry cooldowns. For a more defensive approach, Renly’s Training and Turtle Charm boost shield and blocking capabilities.

Titan

For a controlled, less risky approach, the Titan uses powerful, slow attacks to paralyze enemies. Stone Skin increases armor, Mysterious Lineage boosts HP, and the offensive abilities Earthbreaker and Ancestral Empowerment enhance Slam skills. Surprising Strength increases damage against stunned foes.

Monk Ascendancy Classes in PoE2

Invoker

The Invoker Monk harnesses elemental power for potent melee attacks and status effects. Power Charges enhance skills, adding strategic depth.

Acolyte of Chayula

This Monk embraces darkness, forgoing Spirit for increased Darkness and survivability (Embrace the Darkness). Consuming Questions with Mana Leech enhances defenses, but its reliance on MP drain currently limits its effectiveness.

Mercenary Ascendancy Classes in PoE2

Witchhunter

A top contender, the Witchhunter excels at eliminating demons and undead, dealing increased damage on first and last hits. Pitiless Killer, Damage vs Low Life Enemies, and Judge, Jury, and Executioner are crucial against bosses. Witchbane and No Mercy reduce enemy concentration and increase damage. Zealous Inquisition adds a chance for exploding corpses.

Gemling Legionnaire

This class’s gameplay centers around gems, their stats, and color. Thaumaturgical Infusion boosts resistances, Crystalline Potential and Implanted Gems enhance skill levels, and Advanced Thaumaturgy reduces skill costs and attribute requirements. Integrated Efficiency adds three skill slots, and Gem Studded allows using two identical Support gems.

Ranger Ascendancy Classes in PoE2

Deadeye

For ranged combat fans, the Deadeye increases attack range and damage. Endless Munitions adds a projectile per skill use. Ideal for those focusing on bows and elemental damage.

Pathfinder

Poison specialists will love the Pathfinder, doubling poison effectiveness. Overwhelming Toxicity increases poison but shortens duration. The gas grenade, combined with high movement speed and slow resistance, makes for efficient area control.
