The footage features protagonist Gwendolyn and her sword-transforming companion, Niniane, as they navigate the ruins of a devastated, otherworldly London, following an Outworld invasion.
As they traverse the crumbling streets, they encounter numerous adversaries. A standout feature is Gwendolyn's ability to summon a group of over ten legendary knights, drawing inspiration from King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.
Their journey leads them through a magical portal and into a high-stakes boss battle against Mordred, a character with conflicting goals to Gwendolyn. This confrontation highlights the game's dynamic and intense combat system, underscored by a haunting choir.
According to Kun Fu, the game's producer, as shared on the PlayStation.Blog, Tides of Annihilation will offer "intuitive co-op combat in a single-player experience."
