For a limited time, Amazon is offering the 7th generation Apple iPad Air M3 tablets at the lowest prices we've seen so far. The 11" model is now available for just $499, while the 13" model is priced at $699, both after a $100 instant discount. These are the best prices yet for the 2025 model equipped with the M3 chip, making them an excellent gift idea for Mother's Day on May 11.

The 7th generation iPad Air, released in March, is the current model. It's only one year newer than the 6th generation and the primary upgrade is the transition from the M2 to the more powerful M3 chip. The M3 chip is approximately 20% faster than its predecessor and only about 20% slower than the iPad Pro's M4 chip. The iPad Air retains its stunning Ultra Retina XDR display, supports Wi-Fi 6E and 5G cellular connectivity, and is compatible with the Apple Pencil Pro, Apple Pencil (USB-C), and Magic Keyboard, transforming it into a versatile iOS hybrid laptop. It also supports Apple Intelligence.
**Apple iPad Air (2024) Review (older model) by Jacqueline Thomas**
"**The iPad for the rest of us**. For most people who need a tablet for gaming or watching movies, the iPad Air hits the sweet spot. It may not be as premium as the iPad Pro, but with its beautiful display and the still-powerful M2 processor, it's more than enough."
Amazon has also reduced the price of the newest 2025 11th generation Apple iPad (A16) tablet. All four colors - Blue, Yellow, Pink, and Silver - with 128GB of storage and Wi-Fi only connectivity are now available for $299 after a $50 price drop. This is the best discount we've seen for the latest generation iPad since its launch earlier this year.
