Starting today, Amazon has slashed the price of the officially licensed WD Black C50 2TB Expansion Card for Xbox Series X|S consoles to just $179.99 shipped. This represents a significant 28% discount off the original $250 list price, marking the lowest price ever for an officially licensed 2TB Xbox expansion card. Given the limited options available, the WD Black C50 stands out as one of the top SSD choices for Xbox users, and this deal is not to be missed.

The WD Black C50 expansion card is a 2TB NVME SSD housed in a custom shell designed specifically for Xbox compatibility. Unlike the more involved process of installing an SSD in a PS5, which requires opening the console, the WD expansion card simply slides into its dedicated port on the back of your Xbox. This card matches the speed of the internal SSD, ensuring no loss in performance or extended load times, unlike what you might experience with a standard USB drive. With this 2TB card, you can double the storage on your Xbox Series X and triple it on your Xbox Series S.
For those in search of an officially licensed storage solution—which we highly recommend—your choices are limited to either the WD or Seagate expansion cards. This makes it crucial to take advantage of great deals like this one when they appear.
