More Tales of Remasters on the Horizon: A Consistent Stream of Nostalgia
The Tales of series is set to receive a steady stream of remasters, according to producer Yusuke Tomizawa's announcement during the 30th Anniversary Special Broadcast. While specifics remain under wraps, Tomizawa confirmed a dedicated development team is hard at work, promising a consistent release of remasters in the future.
This commitment follows Bandai Namco's earlier statement acknowledging significant fan demand for updated versions of classic Tales of titles. Many beloved entries remain inaccessible to modern gamers, a situation Bandai Namco is actively rectifying by bringing these games to current consoles and PC.
The upcoming release of Tales of Graces f Remastered on January 17, 2025, for consoles and PC exemplifies this initiative. Originally a Nintendo Wii title (2009), Graces f now joins the ranks of modernized Tales of experiences.
The 30th-anniversary celebration showcased the series' rich history, featuring messages from key developers. The event also marked the launch of a new English-language official website, serving as a central hub for future remaster announcements. Keep an eye on this site for further updates.
