Tracking Down Poachers in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's "Bird of Prey" Quest
The "Bird of Prey" quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 requires tracking five poacher groups. The game doesn't pinpoint their locations, making this a challenging task. This guide provides visual aids and detailed instructions to locate each poacher.

Finding the first poacher is relatively straightforward. After initiating the quest, head north of the pond, enter the forest, and navigate through the dense undergrowth. You'll discover a camp where the poacher is hiding. Peaceful resolution is recommended; he's easily persuaded to surrender. Secure a piece of his equipment as proof.

Locating the second poacher is more difficult. While speaking to quest markers can help narrow the search, the image above shows a direct route. This poacher is more resistant and may require high persuasion skills or, as was the case for the author, may necessitate lethal force. Take his equipment as evidence.

This poacher is found in Slatego Forest. Speaking with Gravedigger Ignatius near Apollonia provides additional clues. Prepare for a wolf encounter in this area. The poacher's camp is initially empty, but you'll find his remains (and the wolves responsible) further west. Collect equipment as proof.

This group presents a greater challenge. Deep within the woods, you'll find three poachers. Direct confrontation isn't necessary. Examine three key pieces of evidence: a deer carcass, a deer hide, and a hanging deer carcass. After examining these, report your findings to the gamekeeper.

The final poacher is Hans. His location within the large search area is near the rocks on the western edge. Apprehension is impossible; instead, take his poaching kit for evidence.
Completing the "Bird of Prey" quest involves strategic investigation and a choice between peaceful resolution and force. Remember that lethal actions can impact your reputation. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
