One of the top-rated 55" OLED TVs is currently on sale for a limited time. Walmart is offering the 55" Samsung S90C 4K OLED Smart TV at an incredible price of just $989, including free shipping. This deal is facilitated through Beach Camera, an authorized Samsung reseller, ensuring you receive the full manufacturer's warranty. The S90C, a 2023 model, outperforms the 2024 S85D and closely matches the image quality of the 2024 S90D, which is priced $200 higher. This TV is perfect for enhancing your gaming experience, whether you're using a PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, or the upcoming Switch 2 console.
Update: You can also find this TV on Amazon for a slightly higher price.
Originally priced at $1,199, you can now save 18% and get it for $989 at Walmart, or save 17% and purchase it for $997.65 at Amazon. The Samsung S90C, though a 2023 model and succeeded by the S90D in 2024, remains one of the best OLED TVs on the market. This is largely due to its use of Samsung's proprietary quantum dot (QD) OLED panel. QD OLED panels offer superior brightness compared to traditional OLED panels while maintaining the renowned color accuracy, wide range, and broad viewing angles of OLED technology. They are considered superior to LG's "Evo" technology found in the C-series TVs, which aim for similar performance. Compared to traditional LED LCD TVs, OLED TVs provide unmatched image quality, near-infinite blacks, near-infinite contrast ratios, and near-instantaneous response times, making them the best panel technology available at a reasonable price.
Beyond its OLED technology, the Samsung S90C is packed with features ideal for gaming. It boasts a native 120Hz panel that can be overclocked to 144Hz, a rarity among 2023 TVs, and includes four HDMI 2.1 ports to support 4K at 120Hz on a PS5 or Xbox Series X. The TV also supports variable refresh rate and auto low latency mode, enhancing your gaming experience.
