Broken Sword – Shadow of the Templars: Reforged arrives on mobile soon. Publisher StoreRider has launched pre-registration for this reimagined 90s classic on Android. If you love point-and-click adventures, this is a must for your collection.
First released in September 1996 on PC, Broken Sword – Shadow of the Templars became a genre-defining title. This Reforged edition, staying true to the original, debuted on PC in September 2024.
The visuals and audio have been meticulously remastered in high definition, supporting 4K. Barrington Pheloung’s evocative soundtrack continues to set the tone. Some scenes feel entirely new while preserving the game’s iconic atmosphere.
The narrative remains untouched, following George Stobbart, an inquisitive American caught in a web of ancient secrets tied to the Knights Templar. He joins forces with Nico Collard, a quick-witted journalist.
From quaint Parisian cafés to ancient Syrian ruins, vibrant Spanish alleys to enigmatic Irish crypts, the duo’s journey spans captivating locales. The game’s visuals are strikingly vivid. See it for yourself!
The puzzles are as challenging as ever, woven through settings like museums and infirmaries. Solutions unlock only after actions in other areas, keeping the gameplay engaging.
This edition supports external controllers, mouse and keyboard for Chromebooks, and Google Play Cloud Save. Offline play is also available.
Broken Sword – Shadow of the Templars: Reforged is a one-time purchase with no ads. Pre-register now for a 30 percent discount at launch. Visit the Google Play Store to secure your copy.
