First released in September 1996 on PC, Broken Sword – Shadow of the Templars became a genre-defining title. This Reforged edition, staying true to the original, debuted on PC in September 2024.
The visuals and audio have been meticulously remastered in high definition, supporting 4K. Barrington Pheloung’s evocative soundtrack continues to set the tone. Some scenes feel entirely new while preserving the game’s iconic atmosphere.
The narrative remains untouched, following George Stobbart, an inquisitive American caught in a web of ancient secrets tied to the Knights Templar. He joins forces with Nico Collard, a quick-witted journalist.
