In October 2024, a special Disaster Relief Done Quick event raised over $45,000 for Direct Relief following Hurricane Helene, providing aid to disaster-stricken areas in the Southeastern US.

AGDQ 2025 concluded with a randomized four-player race of Super Metroid on SNES, with two runners, Eddie and Andy, finishing within a second of each other. GDQ will next host Summer Games Done Quick 2025 in Minneapolis on July 6th, benefiting Doctors Without Borders.
