Dell's Presidents' Day Sale brings an exceptional deal: the Alienware m16 R2 gaming laptop with RTX 4060 graphics drops to just $1,299.99 after a $400 instant savings. This price is remarkable for an Alienware model featuring both an RTX 4060 GPU and the high-performance Intel Core Ultra 9 processor — a rare combination at this price tier. As Alienware's bestselling gaming laptop, the m16 R2 delivers premium build quality, outstanding gaming capabilities, and excellent value. The 2024-updated "R2" version weighs 14% less than its predecessor while maintaining full performance.
$1,699.99 (Save 24%) → $1,299.99 at Alienware
This configuration features a vibrant 16" QHD+ (2560x1600) display powered by Intel's advanced Core Ultra 9 185H processor and NVIDIA RTX 4060 graphics, paired with 16GB DDR5-5600MHz RAM and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The 14th-gen Meteor Lake CPU reaches 5.1GHz Turbo Boost speeds across 16 cores, delivering superior gaming and productivity performance with improved power efficiency over previous generations.
The RTX 4060 GPU (115W TGP, 140W with Dynamic Boost) handles modern games effortlessly at native QHD+ resolution, typically maintaining 60+ fps — though demanding titles may require adjusted settings. DLSS 3.0 support ensures smooth gameplay in compatible titles through AI-powered frame generation.
$1,899.99 (Save 21%) → $1,499.99 at Alienware
For serious gamers, upgrading to the RTX 4070 for $200 extra significantly boosts frame rates at QHD+ resolution. While this configuration uses the Core Ultra 7 155H processor instead of the Ultra 9, gaming performance remains primarily GPU-dependent at this resolution. The RTX 4070 delivers noticeably better performance in graphically intensive games, making this upgrade worthwhile for enthusiasts.
