The Apple Watch Series 10 represents the latest in mainstream smartwatch technology. Notable upgrades from the Apple Watch Series 9 include a larger OLED Retina display, the new S10 processor (which, while not faster, is thinner, contributing to a sleeker watch design), and a slightly larger base model size (42mm vs. 41mm). Additional features like a water depth gauge, though minor, add to the watch's appeal. If you're already using an Apple Watch Series 9, the upgrade might not be compelling enough. However, for first-time buyers, the Series 10 is the best Apple Watch on the market.
When compared to the Apple Watch SE, the Series 10 offers a larger size (42mm vs. 40mm), a bigger display with Always-On functionality, a 30% more powerful processor, double the storage, advanced fitness and body monitoring sensors, double-tap gesture support, and faster charging. While the Apple Watch SE is more budget-friendly at $199 on Amazon, the enhancements in the Series 10 justify the additional cost for most users.
Technically, it's possible to pair an Apple Watch with an Android phone, but we strongly advise against it. Apple designed the watch to work optimally with iOS devices, meaning many of its features won't function as intended on Android. While there are workarounds to access some functionalities, the effort required often outweighs the benefits. If you're set on owning an Apple Watch, consider switching to an iPhone. For Android users, there are numerous smartwatches designed specifically for your device that would be a better match.
