Applin Debuts in Pokémon GO: Sweet Discoveries Await!

Pokémon GO enthusiasts, get ready for the Sweet Discoveries event, which promises an exciting addition to your collection with the debut of Applin. This event is perfect for those passionate about discovering new Pokémon and hunting for shinies. Dive into the details below to make the most of this sweet opportunity.

When Is Applin Debuting in Pokémon GO?

Mark your calendars! The Sweet Discoveries event kicks off on April 24th at 10:00 a.m. and will continue until April 29th at 8:00 p.m. local time. This is when you'll first encounter Applin, a Grass and Dragon-type Pokémon hailing from the Galar region.

To evolve Applin into Flapple, you'll need 200 Applin Candies and 20 Tart Apples. Alternatively, for Appletun, you'll require the same amount of candies but with 20 Sweet Apples. And for those aiming for Dipplin, its final evolution into Hydrapple awaits.

A crucial part of evolving Applin involves collecting Apples. These can be found in the wild, and tapping on them might reward you with a Tart Apple, a Sweet Apple, or even Applin itself. Boost your chances of finding these Apples by using Mossy Lure Modules.

Did You Know?

Applin is unique in that it spends its entire life inside an apple, cleverly disguising itself to evade bird Pokémon. With its adorable appearance, Applin is undoubtedly one of the cutest Pokémon in the entire Pokémon GO lineup.

During the Sweet Discoveries event, you can snag some new avatar items from the shop, including the Applin Headband and Applin Apron. On the bonuses front, you'll enjoy double Candy for every Pokémon you catch during the event.

Your chances of encountering Shiny Delibird and Shiny Skwovet in the wild will be higher, and there's an increased likelihood of hatching Shiny Delibird, Shiny Cherubi, and Shiny Skwovet from 7 km Eggs.

A delightful feature of the event involves berries. Catching Delibird or Skwovet will result in them dropping berries, enhancing your gameplay experience. If you're yet to join the Pokémon GO community, grab the app from the Google Play Store.
