The third expansion map for ARK: Ultimate Mobile Edition, titled Extinction, is now available on mobile via the Google Play Store. This latest addition transports players to a devastated version of Earth, offering a thrilling continuation of the ARK saga.
Extinction marks the culmination of the main ARK storyline, introducing a unique set of challenges distinct from those found in Scorched Earth and Aberration. In this post-apocalyptic setting, water is scarce, and players must innovate to secure valuable loot. As a lone survivor, you'll delve into the mysteries behind the creation of the Ark system amidst a landscape overrun by Element and populated by both robotic and organic rexes. Alongside the new map, several updates enhance gameplay. Players can now benefit from the Thick Skin insulation buff, improving survival chances. In multiplayer PVE mode, creatures will roam away from common camping spots to prevent griefing. Additionally, a cap on the number of light sources has been implemented to reduce spammy constructions.
ARK: Ultimate Mobile Edition encompasses major expansions like Genesis Part 1 and 2. For those not interested in purchasing all expansions, individual maps and features are available.
