MiHoYo's HoYoVerse subsidiary is busy developing its next title, previously known as Astaweave Haven. Even before a full reveal, the game is undergoing significant changes, including a name change. The new name? Petit Planet.
While MiHoYo hasn't released much official information, Astaweave Haven (now Petit Planet) is rumored to be a departure from the company's typical open-world gacha RPGs. Instead, it's anticipated to be a life simulation or management game, similar to titles like Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley. The name "Petit Planet" certainly suggests a more relaxed, management-focused experience.
Release Date Uncertainty:
The game is still under development. Astaweave Haven received Chinese approval for PC and mobile releases in July. The trademark for Petit Planet was registered in October, and is now awaiting approval in the US and UK. Given MiHoYo's track record of rapid releases (e.g., Zenless Zone Zero following Honkai: Star Rail), we can hope for a swift approval process and subsequent game reveal.
