Featherweight Games, the studio behind the popular Botworld Adventure, has unveiled its latest creation: Auto Pirates: Captains Cup, a strategic auto-battler currently available in early access. The full launch is slated for August 22nd, 2024, on Android devices.
Following the success of titles like Botworld Adventure and Skiing Yeti Mountain, Featherweight ventures into the competitive strategy arena with a swashbuckling pirate theme. Auto Pirates: Captains Cup is currently in early Android access, having already soft-launched on iOS.
Gameplay Overview:
Auto Pirates: Captains Cup challenges players to assemble their pirate crew, equip their vessels, and engage in tactical sea battles to amass loot and conquer the global leaderboard. Players build their ultimate pirate haven, earning plunder and trophies along the way.
The game offers strategic depth through the combination of pirates from four distinct factions, the use of magical relics, and experimentation with various ship types. Victory hinges on mastering diverse combat strategies, whether it's blasting, boarding, burning, or sinking opponents to achieve the coveted top 1% ranking.
The game boasts a roster of over 80 unique pirates, all freely available, categorized into seven distinct classes (Boarders, Cannons, Musketeers, Defenders, Support, and others). With over 100 relics to discover and combine, players can craft powerful synergistic teams.
