*Avatar: Seven Havens* is set to be a 26-episode, 2D animated series that promises to immerse viewers in a gripping narrative. The story follows a young Earthbender who steps into the role of the next Avatar after Korra. In a world ravaged by a cataclysmic event, this new Avatar faces a unique challenge: instead of being hailed as a savior, she's feared as a potential destroyer. Pursued by both human and spirit foes, she must embark on a perilous journey with her long-lost twin to unravel their mysterious origins and save the Seven Havens—the last bastions of civilization.

DiMartino and Konietzko expressed their excitement about expanding the *Avatar* universe, saying, "When we created the original series, we never imagined we’d still be expanding the world decades later.
