Re-rolling your Avowed character? It happens! This guide shows you how to respec your abilities, attributes, and even your companion's stats.
Why Respec?
Choosing the right class and attributes at the start can be tricky. If your build isn't working, respeccing lets you adjust your character to better suit your playstyle. Whether you're shifting from a pure mage to a spellsword, or simply optimizing your combat effectiveness, respeccing is your solution.
Respeccing Your Abilities
To reset your ability points, open the menu, go to the "Abilities" section, and find the "Reset Points" option near the bottom. It initially costs 100 Copper Skeyt, increasing with game progression. Confirm your choice and pay the fee. This resets all ability points except those from the "Godlike" skill tree (obtained through in-game choices).
Respeccing Your Attributes
Happy with your abilities but not your attributes? Open the menu, navigate to the "Character" section. At the bottom, below your attribute list, you'll find a button to reset attribute points. The initial cost is 100 Copper Skeyt, escalating as you play. Pay the price to reclaim your attribute points.
Respeccing Your Companion
Want to tweak your companion's build? In the menu's "Abilities" section, select the "Companions" tab. Under your companion's name, you'll see a button to respec their abilities. Pay the Copper Skeyt cost to reset their points. Note: You must respec each companion individually.
Mastering respeccing in Avowed ensures your character remains adaptable and effective throughout your adventure. Avowed is available now!
