The first six-issue arc of *Absolute Batman* concluded in March, setting the stage for a fresh take on the iconic villain Mr. Freeze in April's issue #7. For fans who prefer to collect complete stories rather than single issues, trade paperback collections are the way to go. *Absolute Batman Volume 1: The Zoo*, written by comics legend Scott Snyder and illustrated by Nick Dragotta, compiles issues one through six and is now available for preorder, with a release date of August 5.
You can find *Absolute Batman Volume 1: The Zoo* at various retailers, with Amazon currently offering discounts. The paperback edition is priced at $16.19, reflecting a 10% discount, while the hardcover is available for $23.24, a 7% reduction off the original price.

IGN's Jesse Schedeen recently interviewed the creators behind *Absolute Batman*. The series teases the involvement of iconic villains like Bane and the Joker. Scott Snyder, the writer, hinted, " . . . this Joker is already really terrifying by the time he meets Batman. But his relationship with Batman is part of something that really evolves as the series goes.” The unfolding of this intriguing dynamic promises to be a highlight for fans.
One of the advantages of preordering *Absolute Batman Vol. 1* from Amazon is their Preorder Price Guarantee. According to Amazon's policy, this ensures that you will always pay the lowest price available up until the product ships. So, if the price drops below what's listed here, you'll automatically get the lower price. It's a great deal!
