You'll play as The Penitent One, a heavily armored warrior on a quest to liberate the cursed island of Cvstodia from the blight known as The Miracle. Blasphemous' mobile version features a completely revamped UI and intuitive touch controls, along with Bluetooth gamepad compatibility for those who prefer traditional controllers. All DLC is included – a welcome bonus!
iOS users will have to exercise a bit more patience; the game's iOS launch is slated for late February 2025. However, given the overwhelmingly positive reception from players and critics, the wait will undoubtedly be worthwhile.
Mobile platformers have always been a mixed bag for me personally. Touchscreens aren't always ideal for precision platforming, as my experience with Castlevania: Symphony of the Night demonstrated.
