Blue Archive Drops Rowdy and Cheery Update With New Story, Units And Game Mode!

Nexon has rolled out a major update for Blue Archive called Rowdy and Cheery. and it’s bringing a ton of new stuff to explore. If you’re into RPGs with a mix of action and strategy, this update is definitely going to keep you busy.

Who Is The Rowdy And Cheery In Blue Archive?

The update brings a new story arc about a chaotic field trip between two academies—Gehenna Academy and the Allied Hyakkiyako Academy. You’ll follow the students from Gehenna as they make their way over to Hyakkiyako.

Meanwhile, the Festival Operations Department scrambles to get things in order. Some wild moments happen as these two groups collide in the 10-episode story. But it’s all good in the end since you can earn rewards like Pyroxenes and Credit Points by completing the chapters.

Blue Archive is dropping two new characters with Rowdy and Cheery. They are Tsubaki (Guide) and Umika. Tsubaki is from the Allied Hyakkiyako Academy and plays the role of a tour guide during this field trip.

Umika is from the Festival Operations Department. She is a Mystic-type Striker, armed with a Fireworks Launcher that deals heavy damage to a single enemy. On that note, watch these two in action in the trailer below!

There’s Also A New Game Mode!

Final Restriction Release is a new mode which gives you a shot at taking down tough bosses. You can deploy up to 6 Strikers and 4 Special students per unit to help you tackle the formidable enemies.

This mode is available until October 21st and you’ll get to grab valuable items like Credit Points, Enhancement Stones and Workbooks that are key to the new Talent Unlock growth system.

So, I guess it’s time to jump back into Kivotos and see what new adventures await! Grab Blue Archive from the Google Play Store and dive into the Rowdy and Cheery update.
