Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is treating players to a Quad Feed Double XP event, running until January 21st, boosting progress across accounts, weapons, Battle Pass, and GobbleGum. This coincides with the 115 Day celebration honoring the Zombies community. Treyarch, in anticipation of Season 2's launch, showcased fan art, cosplay, and other community contributions.
Season 2 promises a new Zombies map, "The Tomb," and significant quality-of-life improvements. The Quad Feed Double XP event, active from January 15th, offers double XP for player accounts, weapons, the Battle Pass, and GobbleGum acquisition. This timely boost helps players prepare for Season 2's arrival.
The "115 Day" celebration highlights the enduring popularity of the Zombies mode, a Treyarch staple. The number "115," significant in Zombies lore (referencing Element-115), is central to the event. Treyarch's announcement included a community spotlight featuring fan art and cosplay. Teasers for Season 2 included new Zombies stats for Directed Mode and a first look at "The Tomb."
Despite positive aspects, Black Ops 6 has faced challenges including hacking, bugs, controversial events, and feature shortcomings, leading to a significant player base decline on some platforms like Steam. Season 2 is anticipated to address these issues and revitalize the game's popularity.
