As February rolls in with its chilly breeze, the warmth of spring isn't far behind. But if you're looking for something to entice you outdoors before the thaw, Pokémon Go's latest event, Scattered to the Wind, is here to heat things up.

What does this event bring to the table? For starters, you can earn double XP for spinning a PokéStop and a whopping five times XP for your first spin of the day. You'll also have the opportunity to open up to 40 Gifts daily, or even 60 if you've got the Eggs-pedition Access: February ticket. And if you're on the hunt for Shiny Pokémon, you'll be thrilled to know there's an increased chance to encounter Shiny Pidgey.

But the excitement doesn't stop there! By pinning postcards from players around the globe, you'll boost your chances of meeting the new Shiny versions of Scatterbug, Spewpa, and Vivillon. Alongside these, the event introduces new Field Research Task rewards, Paid Timed Research, and more!
