Gameaki has released its second Android game, and this time, it’s all about testing your trivia knowledge. Select Quiz brings over 3,500 questions with a unique twist—it’s more than just a standard general knowledge quiz.
The game features eight categories: arts, celebrities, cinema and TV, general knowledge, geography, history, science, and sports. The name "Select Quiz" comes from the ability to drop one category after the first round and focus on just one in the final round.
Instead of facing randomized questions alone, you pick from 18 distinct characters to support you. Each character specializes in certain subjects, adding a strategic element to your gameplay. Alongside answering trivia, you're building your own expert team.
These 18 characters serve as allies, each with their own personality. For example, George is a mathematician who enjoys computers and playing chess with friends. Ricky is a hairdresser, Steven a doctor, Kate a homemaker, and Fei an entrepreneur.
Each character has stats showing which subjects they excel in. George, for instance, scores 90% in Science, 70% in Geography and History, 50% in GK, and more. This helps you choose characters who can guide you toward correct answers.
As you play, you earn bonuses and coins to spend in the in-game store. Use them to unlock extra questions, new characters, and knowledge boosters. The game is available in English and Greek, with more languages planned soon.
Select Quiz was developed by Gameaki, Crete’s first professional game studio. Based in Kissamos, the company aims to unite talented local developers and introduce their games to a worldwide audience.
