Mastering Crew Recruitment in Citizen Sleeper 2

This guide details how to acquire every crew member in Citizen Sleeper 2. Remember, while recruitment is usually straightforward (accepting their offer to join), success in certain Contracts or events might influence your ability to recruit specific individuals. It's also possible to lose crew members or miss opportunities due to poor dice rolls or missed events.

Initial Crew:

Serafin and Bliss are automatically added to your crew and are not associated with any achievements. Note that Serafin is generally unavailable for Contracts.

Recruiting Juni:

Juni initially joins temporarily on Hexport. To permanently recruit Juni, proceed to Helion Gate after completing the "Idle Minds" clock at Solheim Records. A cutscene will trigger, followed by a Contract. Accept Juni back onto your ship upon completion. This unlocks the "Data Archaeologist" achievement.

Recruiting Yu-Jin:

Find Yu-Jin on Far Spindle after completing the "Getting Wracked" clock at Gaia's Gyre (requires ordering a Wrack four times, costing 16 Cryo). Complete the subsequent Contract to permanently add Yu-Jin to your crew. This unlocks the "The Freelancer" achievement.

Recruiting Luis:

During the "Aphelion Beacon" Contract, choose to leave Yu-Jin behind to recruit Luis instead. Recruiting Luis unlocks the "Signalchaser" achievement.

Recruiting Kadet:

Meet Kadet on Far Spindle after completing the "Spindle Core" clock at the Spindle Core location. This unlocks a new drive and the Stripline Express location. Complete the events at Stripline Express, triggering a cutscene. Finally, travel to the Scatteryards to recruit Kadet. This unlocks the "The Spindlejack" achievement.

Recruiting Femi or Nia:

You can recruit either Femi or Nia, but not both. You'll initially meet Nia on Hexport, encountering Femi as well. Later, Femi appears on Floatsam, leading to a Contract ensuring Nia's safety. Upon completion, choose between Femi (unlocks "Big Brother" achievement) or Nia (unlocks "Little Sister" achievement).

Recruiting Flint:

After your first visit to Olivera, a Contract will initiate an investigation into Flint's disappearance. This leads to another Contract requiring swift action to set a trap. Follow Xander to rescue Flint and successfully complete the Contract to recruit him. This unlocks the "Fugitive" achievement.
