Civilization VI Android Gets All Missing Content in Update

  • The highly anticipated update arrives June 12th
  • Three fresh units, four strategic maps, exciting new modes and additional features
  • Two premium expansion passes will debut simultaneously

Aspyr is leveling the playing field by bringing Android players up to speed with Civilization VI's complete feature set. On June 12th, Android users will receive a comprehensive update that introduces previously unavailable content, finally matching other platforms. The update coincides with the Android launch of two major expansions available for purchase.

Key additions include three carefully designed units that smooth out military progression. Trebuchets now bridge Catapults and Bombards, Man-at-Arms solidify your medieval forces, while Line Infantry create a natural transition between Musketmen and modern Infantry. Each unit fills critical gaps in your military development path.

Four beautifully crafted new maps await exploration - including an expansive Mediterranean and a breathtaking global Earth map, each featuring historical start positions. For players seeking fresh challenges, the unpredictable Tech and Civic Shuffle mode and dynamic Barbarian Clans system make their Android debut, injecting new strategic variables into gameplay.

ytThe update delivers fan-requested customization tools like Natural Wonder and City-State Selectors for tailored world generation. It also introduces a Leader Selection Pool and debuts Julius Caesar as a playable leader. Beyond content, the patch addresses over 50 bugs and significantly improves multiplayer stability.

  • The New Frontier Pass ($29.99): Adds 8 civilizations, 9 leaders and 6 game-changing modes
  • The Leader Pass ($19.99): Introduces 12 new leaders plus alternative versions of fan favorites

Every element of this update has been optimized for Android, ensuring Civilization VI players receive the complete strategic experience mobile gamers deserve.
