Mortal Kombat 1's latest update introduces a challenging secret: defeating the pink ninja, Floyd, unlocks the trailer's coveted Field stage. This isn't your average fight; Floyd's appearance is tied to a unique challenge system.
The community quickly cracked the code, sharing detailed guides online. To unlock the fight, players must complete ten out of thirty-seven randomized challenges within a single session. These challenges vary wildly, demanding specific characters, Kameos, or even strategic losses. A helpful community spreadsheet catalogs all challenges and offers valuable strategies.

The challenge isn't simply selecting the easiest ten; the selection is randomized each attempt. While Floyd may occasionally offer in-game hints, this is infrequent. Fortunately, most challenges are manageable on the easiest difficulty or using two controllers in PvP mode.
Successfully completing ten challenges grants three attempts to defeat Floyd. Failure means restarting the challenge process with a new set of ten randomized tasks.
