TouchArcade Rating: Following the mobile release of Coromon, the popular monster-collecting game from TRAGsoft, a roguelite spin-off is on the horizon. Coromon: Rogue Planet (Free) will launch next year on Steam, Switch, iOS, and Android. This new title combines the turn-based combat of the original with roguelite elements, promising endless replayability. The Steam page highlights 10 dynamic biomes, 7 playable characters, over 130 monsters, and more. Check out the official announcement trailer below:
The original Coromon is available for free on mobile. It will be interesting to see how the mobile version of Coromon: Rogue Planet compares to the Steam and Switch releases, and if they launch simultaneously. You can wishlist Coromon: Rogue Planet on Steam now. While I haven't played Coromon recently, Coromon: Rogue Planet's gameplay sounds incredibly appealing. Based on the Steam screenshots, it seems perfectly suited for short bursts of play. In the meantime, you can download the original Coromon for free on iOS. What are your thoughts on Coromon: Rogue Planet so far? Have you played the original Coromon?
