Marvel Zombies takes center stage in the latest Marvel Snap season
New undead-themed versions of Marvel characters are up for grabs
And a brand-new keyword lets you drown the battlefield in an endless wave of zombies!
For better or worse, Marvel Zombies is soon coming to Disney+ subscribers. While you might sigh at the MCU digging into Marvel’s back catalog for inspiration, it does mean one bright side: another exciting tie-in season for Marvel Snap, as the undead flood in!
This time, it’s not just new cards—there’s also a brand-new keyword launching alongside these undead-themed additions. The Horde keyword means certain cards you play will gradually fuel the growth of a single, powerful horde card in specific locations.
Essentially, the more undead and corrupted Marvel heroes you play, the more they’ll overwhelm the board in gloriously grotesque fashion. Keep an eye out for Zombie Scarlet Witch in the Undead Horde season pass, and Headpool in the Super Premium pass and Seasonal Series 5 packs.
Of course, no Marvel Snap update would be complete without fresh, iconic locations to battle in. Both The Deadlands—the zombies’ home on Battleworld—and the Survivor Camp will integrate with the new Horde keyword and undead cards.
Even if zombies aren’t your thing, don’t miss the return of limited-time modes: Showdown launches from October 15th to 22nd, and Grand Arena returns from the 27th through November 3rd.
