Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.3 Delayed
"A Scope Similar to Update 2.2"
Cyberpunk 2077, the acclaimed sci-fi action RPG from CD Projekt Red (CDPR), is delaying what many consider its true "final" update. Originally scheduled for June 26, CDPR has now announced the team needs "a little more time" to deliver an update with "a scope similar to Update 2.2."
Following the announcement, Global Community Director Marcin Momot took to Twitter (X) to apologize for the delay and express gratitude to fans for their support.
"Turns out we're going to need more time with this one. Sorry for the wait and thanks for your patience, everyone!" Momot wrote.
Associate Game Director Paweł Sasko also commented on Update 2.3, explaining that the team is dedicating extra time to polish and refine its new features.
"Need a little more time in the oven my chooms." Sasko writes, "Making sure it's done well and polished for you. Much love, thank you for your passion for our game -- it's incredibly motivating and inspiring."
