Drecom has rolled out an exciting new story chapter for Wizardry Variants Daphne, delivering a captivating narrative for players to dive into starting today. As someone new to this franchise, I’ve noticed its growing buzz, especially after recently surpassing an impressive one million downloads and counting.
For those unfamiliar, Wizardry Variants Daphne is a beloved 3D dungeon RPG packed with retro charm and a turn-based combat system. You’ll assemble a party of six, venture into treacherous dungeons, gather loot, face monstrous foes (and likely meet your doom), resupply in town, and dive back in for more.
This latest update introduces the mysterious Abyss and Guarda Fortress, alongside a limited-time login event offering 1,000 Org Gems and exclusive rewards.
The Impregnable Guarda Fortress Missions are now live, challenging players to earn Adventurer’s Remains and up to 400 Org Gems until March 5th.
Curious about the lore? Tune into the Pocket Gamer Podcast, where our expert newshound Iwan unpacks the franchise’s rich history. Ready to jump in? Wizardry Variants Daphne is available on the App Store and Google Play as a free-to-play title with in-app purchases.
