DC Heroes United: A New Interactive Mobile Series from the Creators of Silent Hill: Ascension
Ever wish you could steer the narrative in your favorite comic books? Now you can! DC Heroes United, a new interactive mobile series, lets you guide the actions of iconic heroes like Batman and Superman. This innovative series comes from the creators of Silent Hill: Ascension, offering a unique blend of storytelling and player choice.
DC Heroes United streams on Tubi, allowing viewers to witness the Justice League's origin story – from Batman and Superman to Wonder Woman and Green Lantern – and beyond. Your decisions directly impact the plot, influencing the fate of beloved characters.
While DC has experimented with interactive narratives before, this marks Genvid's first foray into the superhero genre. The series unfolds on Earth-212, a universe newly grappling with the emergence of superheroes, promising a fresh take on familiar characters.
A Fair Shake for Genvid?
Genvid's previous project, Silent Hill: Ascension, received mixed reviews. However, DC Heroes United offers a different approach. The inherent silliness and over-the-top nature of many superhero comics may be a better fit for Genvid's interactive format than the darker themes of Silent Hill. Furthermore, DC Heroes United includes a standalone roguelite mobile game, a significant upgrade from its predecessor.
The first episode is now available on Tubi. Will DC Heroes United take flight, or will it fall flat? Only time will tell. But one thing is certain: this interactive series offers a unique opportunity for comic book fans to shape the narrative and experience the DC Universe in a whole new way.
