Genvid Entertainment's highly anticipated game, DC Heroes United, is now open for pre-registration, with a launch slated for late 2024. This unique title blends rogue-lite gameplay with the iconic DC Universe, promising an engaging experience for fans.
A Fusion of Rogue-lite and DC Universe
DC Heroes United features a roster of beloved DC characters, including Superman, Batman, Cyborg, and Wonder Woman. Players guide these heroes through episodic adventures, making impactful story choices. The game's innovative element? Community participation. Fans' votes directly shape the narrative, offering unprecedented influence on the unfolding story.
A Story Driven by Community Choices
The plot begins with a classic villainous twist. The heroes and villains of Earth-212, previously relegated to shadows and rumors, are thrust into the spotlight by the enigmatic Tower of Fate's appearance in Gotham. Lex Luthor's creation of mutants wielding a mix of heroic and villainous powers forms the central conflict. Players defeat these monstrous creations to unlock new heroes.
Interactive Streaming and Canon Impact
DC Heroes United is an interactive streaming series, a collaborative effort between Genvid and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Player decisions affect not only the game's progression but also the official DC canon. Weekly episodes feature crucial choices voted on by the players, impacting the relationships between iconic characters like Batman and Superman, and even Lex Luthor's moral compass. These choices become permanent additions to the DC multiverse's rich history.
The EveryHero Project: A Roguelite Side Quest
The EveryHero Project, a roguelite experience integrated into the main game, adds another layer of depth. Players delve into a LexCorp simulation, battling waves of iconic villains such as Bane and Poison Ivy. This side quest directly influences the unfolding weekly episodes.
