Starting this week, Dell is rolling out an unbeatable deal on the Dell Tower Plus gaming PC, now equipped with the powerhouse GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super graphics card, available for just $1,649.99 with free shipping. This setup is perfect for gamers looking to dive into 4K gaming without breaking the bank, and it's significantly more affordable than a prebuilt with an RTX 5070 Ti, which would cost over $2,000 regardless of where you shop.

The Dell Tower Plus comes loaded with an Intel Core Ultra 7 265 CPU, a GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super GPU, 16GB of DDR5-5200MHz RAM, and a speedy 1TB M.2 SSD. The Intel Core Ultra 7 265 processor boasts a max turbo frequency of 5.3GHz, 20 cores, and a 36MB cache. For an additional $100, you can opt for the more powerful Ultra 7 265K model, which automatically upgrades your cooling from "Standard" to "Advanced" air cooling, featuring a more robust tower heatsink fan. However, skipping the Core i9 CPU upgrade is recommended as gaming performance is typically GPU-bound, especially at higher resolutions. The system is powered by a reliable 750W 80PLUS Platinum power supply.
The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super excels at gaming across all resolutions, from 1080p to 4K. At 1080p and 1440p, you can expect to achieve 144fps or higher in most games, making it an ideal match for FHD or QHD monitors with high refresh rates. While 4K gaming is more demanding, you should still be able to maintain a solid 60fps in most titles. Compared to the new Blackwell cards, the RTX 4070 Ti Super is significantly more powerful than the RTX 5070 and only about 10%-15% less powerful than the RTX 5070 Ti. It also comes with the same amount of VRAM as the RTX 5070 Ti and 5080, although it uses the older generation GDDR6 instead of GDDR7.
While the RTX 5070 Ti GPU might offer a slight performance edge, a prebuilt with this GPU will cost you hundreds more. The cheapest RTX 5070 Ti gaming PC available on Amazon is priced at over $2,000, meaning you'd have to shell out an extra $500+ for just a 10% performance boost.
