The Delta Force PC Alpha Test became accessible at around Aug 5, 9 p.m. EDT / 6 p.m. PDT. However, the developers announced on August 30 that the Alpha Test would conclude on September 8, or Sept 7, 8 p.m. EDT / 5 p.m. PDT for those in the United States.
Fans had multiple opportunities to join the Alpha Test, including through the Delta Force Official Website, the Delta Force Official Steam Page, and by watching Delta Force Twitch streams to receive Twitch Drops. Additionally, their official Twitter/X account frequently offered Alpha Test codes during special events and milestones.
From the pre-alpha test held from July 11 - 15, the developers identified several critical errors that impacted gameplay for a limited group of participants. As a result, they had to postpone the planned July Alpha test to address these issues and ensure a top-notch gaming experience.
Delta Force was originally set to conduct its Alpha Test starting on July 18, with no end date announced. Fans could seek access through the official website by completing player surveys, requesting access on the official Steam page, or by watching Twitch.tv streams to receive Steam keys via Twitch Drops. A pre-alpha test from July 11 to 15 served as a stress test, allowing a small subset of players early access. Note that access to the test was exclusive to PC, either through the game's official client or Steam, and cross-progression was not available during the Alpha Test.
