The Story: A Demon, an Archer, and a Perilous Quest
An ancient demon unleashes chaos upon the world, prompting the forest spirits to awaken a long-dormant archer. Armed with a bow and arrow, the archer embarks on a perilous mission to vanquish the demon. However, A Kindling Forest is far from a straightforward adventure.
Gameplay: Precision and Timing are Key
Prepare for relentless action! The screen continuously scrolls, presenting a constant barrage of sharp, unpredictable obstacles. Players must skillfully dodge or shoot these hazards using their arrows, the very lifeline provided by the forest spirits. Running out of arrows means game over, making every shot crucial.
Five Levels of Increasing Intensity
A Kindling Forest features five increasingly challenging levels. Players will navigate treacherous landscapes, leaping over spiders, teleporting through ancient ruins, soaring over clouds, and even braving fiery rivers of lava. Strategically placed checkpoints offer a lifeline, allowing players to restart and refine their approach after setbacks.
Dual-Screen Controls and Strategic Slow-Motion
The game utilizes a unique dual-screen control scheme: one half for jumping, the other for aiming and shooting. Precise timing is paramount. A slow-motion effect activates during aiming, providing a crucial window for accurate shots.
