At the "FROMSOFTWARE GAMES EVENT Spring 2025" held in Tokyo on May 6, as reported by Famitsu, the developers unveiled tantalizing details about the upcoming Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition. Among the highlights are two new character classes: the "Knight of Ides" and the "Heavy Armored Knight." While specifics remain scarce beyond their names and aesthetics, these classes will come with two of the four new armor sets exclusive to the Tarnished Edition. The other two armor sets can be obtained in-game, alongside new weapons and skills that were teased during the event.
For fans of Torrent, the spirit horse, there's more to look forward to as well. The Tarnished Edition introduces three new appearances for Torrent, adding a personalized touch to your journey through the Lands Between. This content, bundled with the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, will also be available on other platforms through the Tarnished Pack DLC, which FromSoftware has promised to offer at a budget-friendly price, according to RPG Site.
